This past weekend in Madison was one for the books.
Despite nearly a foot of snow and true blizzard conditions across the area, the Madison Card Show proved once again just how strong and dedicated the hobby community really is.

Saturday: Cards Over Conditions
Saturday’s show faced the toughest challenge Mother Nature could throw at it. Weather-related cancellations reduced the floor to 75 tables, down from our usual capacity. Even so, dealers who made the trip brought quality inventory, great energy, and a “let’s make the best of it” mindset.

Most impressive of all? Collectors still showed up.
Through snow-covered roads and difficult travel conditions, a solid crowd made it through the doors. Buyers were engaged, deals were happening, and the atmosphere felt more like a celebration of the hobby than a snow emergency.
Sunday: Pokémon Power
By Sunday, the momentum only increased. The Madison Pokemon Show hit full capacity, with a packed floor, buzzing aisles, and nonstop Pokémon action.

Families, kids, and collectors filled the room, proving that not even a winter storm can slow down the Pokémon community. Trades, sales, and smiles were everywhere—and the energy was exactly what these shows are all about.
Thank You, Madison
To the dealers who braved the weather, the collectors who came out anyway, and everyone who helped make the weekend a success—thank you. This weekend reinforced why Madison continues to be one of the strongest card-show communities anywhere.

Snowstorms come and go, but the hobby always shows up.
We’ll see you at the next one, December 27, at the Alliant Energy Center’s Exhibition Hall.
